Koppers EPIC innovation program bringing epic results. 💥 As part of a university partnership program, masters students from Carnegie Mellon University's Integrated Innovation Institute tackled designing and prototyping a tool that simplifies excavation of bridge piling. 🌉 This tool is designed to reduce manual labor, mitigate Zero Harm risks, minimize flying debris and prevent damage to the pile. The students presented two prototype options for a more lightweight, portable tool: a rototiller attachment and a shovel enhancement. The future is bright with students like these leading the charge! 🌟
