With Halloween fast approaching, we asked a few partner firms to join us in a pumpkin carving event. We may be partial to Korda's pumpkin, but check out all of the great designs we have gotten so far!

Our team was on site for the placement of the center-span beams for the new Mclean Mill Road Bridge (TR127) in Pickaway County. These 147-foot long, 72” deep precast concrete I-beams weigh over 178,000 pounds each! The project removes all permanent impacts to Big Darby Creek, a State and National Scenic River, restoring this section to a natural condition. The 1850 linear feet of roadway realignment with a curved bridge improves safety. We’re excited to see the re-opening of this bridge, which replaces a historic truss constructed in 1912 that will be repurposed for a local trail project.
Korda was happy to be a part of the Marker Development team at the ground-breaking ceremony for the new 260-unit, multi-story residential facility at the former Godman Guild site, located in the Weiland Park district. When complete, the building will have an onsite parking garage, floor retail space, and several amenities for residents. Korda is proud to contribute to this important endeavor, which will add residential density to the area.
Korda/Nemeth Engineers have been actively involved with designing the Red Lot parking improvements project at the John Glenn International Airport in Columbus, Ohio, which adds over 2,000 parking spaces to the growing airport. The project is significant because it is an enabling project for the future $2B new terminal and currently is the largest ADS StormTech chamber project in Ohio. The project stands as a testament to innovative stormwater management. Spanning a vast expanse, this project embodies the airport’s commitment to sustainability and resilience in the face of climate challenges. Designed to efficiently capture and detain stormwater runoff, these chambers employ advanced technology to mitigate flooding risks and protect local ecosystems. Korda is proud to be leading this project through design and construction.
