This year, #KPMCPAs was selected as a host business for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce's Teacher Externship program. With this selection, two teachers from Verona R-7 and Springfield Missouri Public Schools school districts were able to come to our office and spend the day with #TeamKPM! They were immersed in our #KPMCulture and were able to engage in panel discussions, including a virtual meeting with Missouri Society of CPAs, networking opportunities, games, and more to learn about the industry of public accounting. We are grateful to give back to our community and help local area teachers learn more about what students can do to be successful as they discover opportunities in the workforce!

We asked #KPMAudit team member, Duke Johnson, the best advice he's received. Duke shared, "Things are worth trying, even if you're pretty sure that you'll fail." He adds, "As someone who doesn't like to fail or do poorly in general, it can be a struggle sometimes to force myself to attempt new activities, but afterwards, I am always glad that I gave things a shot." #KPMCareers

Last week, #TeamKPM celebrated an exciting milestone – $20 million in revenue! This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and expertise of our amazing team, and the trust and loyalty of our incredible clients. Last week, Leadership Springfield held One Big Class Reunion to recognize graduates from Signature Class and celebrate LeadSGF classmates. #KPMCPAs is proud to congratulate Hannah Montgomery, a member of the #KPMAudit team, on graduating from Signature Class 46!

Yesterday, members of #TeamKPM volunteered at Ozarks Food Harvest for the United Way of the Ozarks #DayOfCaring! We spent the day packing boxes for the Senior Food Program, which provides shelf-stable food to senior citizens in need. Together we packed 780 boxes, totaling 23,400 lbs. of food, which will mean 19,500 meals! #KPMCARES #LiveUnited

A couple of weeks ago, members of #TeamKPM attended PrimeGlobal's Women in Leadership Conference. This event is dedicated to enhancing the success of women in the accounting profession by providing an environment that encourages the sharing of insights and ideas and by creating a network of like-minded professionals. #KPMCPAs
