The start of the school year looked very different at Greencastle High School this year! The final and most transformative phase of our Greencastle Schools project has officially welcomed students into its stunning new spaces. One of the most exciting changes is the expansion that connects the High School to the McAnally Athletic Center, improving safety and providing additional needed spaces for athletic, academic, and extracurricular function. This also created a public-facing entry and gathering area that welcomes parents and community members to school functions with a sense of pride that now properly represents Greencastle School’s commitment to a modern and exceptional education for all. While the project at the high school was the most visibly transformative, our work at Greencastle Schools has spanned five years and touched every school in the system with varying levels of improvement that have elevated and diversified the spaces where high quality twenty-first-century learning take place. Security improvements were made across all schools, as well as efficiency of energy consumption. Congratulations to Greencastle Schools and Superintendent Jeff Gibboney, who was a visionary for this effort from start to finish!
