🌟 Another successful CPA Day of Service! 🌟 Kruggel Lawton is proud to participate in Indiana CPA Society's annual Day of Service. KL staff volunteered at the Twelve Baskets Food Bank and Free Store in Portage, MI and at Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County's ReStore. At Twelve Baskets our team helped sort and organize hundreds of recently donated items for their free store. Twelve Baskets not only provides the community with free, nutritious food, but their free store allows families to "shop" for clothing, footwear, jackets, diapers, household items, toys and games, books, and hygiene products at no cost. Our second group worked at the ReStore sorting tiles, organizing pallets and siding, cutting vinyl flooring, cleaning donated furniture, and cutting lumber for future Habitat builds. The KL team was able to accomplish 52 hours worth of work in the three hours they were onsite. What an impact! Thank you to all KL staff who were able to participate in our service projects this year!

Who says accountants aren't creative?! This month our Fun Committee hosted a painting activity for the staff with our unofficially official mascot, KLark the Dinosaur. Lookin' good KL!

Great to have some Grace College & Seminary accounting students in the South Bend office today! Professor Roger Stichter DBA, CPA brought his Advanced Accounting class to meet some of KL's Grace grads, chat with Managing Partner Barry Hall, and learn more about what life is like as an accountant after graduating.

This month the Kruggel Lawton Women's Initiative Network (KLWIN) hosted its annual networking event in St. Joe, MI. Members of KLWIN and their guests participated in activities at Water Street Glassworks, The Culinary Cottage, and Brush & Bloom DIY Studio before coming together at Bistro on the Boulevard for an afternoon of conversation and sharing.
