Join us TOMORROW at 10:30am CST for the first installment of our Wellness Webinar Series. Kevin Turner and Sherri Reyes with Human eXperience will talk about their approach to trauma informed design. Trauma-informed design is often applied in healthcare settings, schools, social service agencies, and other environments where people may be particularly vulnerable. The goal is to create spaces that support healing and recovery, while reducing the risk of re-traumatization. In this conversation we will bridge the commonalities in designing to address these needs in both healthcare facilities and learning environments. You can register using this link. We hope to see you there! https://lnkd.in/gCFDYpK2

Michael began cycling in 2020 when the gyms were closed, and shortly after, his wife had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. She has since been treated and is cancer-free to this day. After her treatment at Mass General Hospital, Michael participated in his first cancer charity ride, the Pan-Mass Challenge, and has participated in multiple charity rides since. Michael participated in completing the 99-mile ride and even tacked on a couple of extra miles at the end to ensure a full century (100-mile ride). This is Michael's second year completing the Dolphins Challenge Cancer ride, and he is looking forward to doing it again in 2025.
