We had an amazing time last month at The Baby Show in Olympia London! It was a great experience showcasing our newest collections at this year’s last in-person event. What an absolute pleasure it was to connect with so many new and expecting parents! Families are always at the heart of everything we do and getting to meet and interact with our lovely customers in person is always a highlight for us. 🤍

When Kyte Baby’s founder, Ying Liu, had a daughter with chronic eczema, she began to research quality materials as an alternative to clothing options that irritated sensitive baby skin. Her research led her to the soothing and sustainable properties of bamboo. Out of this dedication, Kyte Baby was launched in 2014. Even the name, Kyte Baby, is a playful nod to the whimsical activity of flying a kite, meant to evoke a feeling of innocence, freedom, and a return to nature. Today, the company’s line features bamboo clothing for babies, toddlers, and moms.

There aren't very many brands that can afford to have a low repeat customer %... so acquiring high quality customers and retaining is existential. Building a customer community and driving brand advocacy are two of the most meaningful drivers of retention and customer LTV. For the month of February, we wanted to not only do our part to raise awareness about American Heart Month, but we wanted to partner with a foundation that continues to make a difference educating Americans about congenital heart defects, or CHDs, a diagnosis that affects ~1% of newborns each year. Since its inception, The Children's Heart Foundation has funded nearly $18 million worth of research, which has led to major breakthroughs to improve survival rates and quality of life for those living with CHDs. By donating to foundations such as these, we are able to invest in additional research and treatment options for the 2-3 million adults and children that live with a congenital heart defect. It is thanks to these efforts that 69% of babies born with a critical CHD are expected to survive to at least 18 years of age.
