La Casa, Inc. is honored to announce that we have been named the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit of the Year! We are incredibly grateful to the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce for this award. Over the last few years, La Casa has seen remarkable growth and an expanding community impact, and we are humbled to be acknowledged alongside so many dedicated organizations. Thanks to the generous support of our community, we have successfully opened a new thrift store that is essential to our operations. In addition, our housing program has expanded significantly, increasing its capacity, allowing us to reach even more individuals in need. We have also implemented new programs such as Safe Exchange and Supervised Visitation, further enhancing our services to support families in our community. We are deeply thankful for our dedicated team, our Board of Directors, our community partners, and all those who support La Casa, Inc. in our mission to support survivors and end domestic violence. It’s because of your trust, your partnership, and your belief in what we do that we’ve been able to make a difference.

One of our clients from our Batterer Intervention Program recently shared their positive experience, stating: “My wife and kids are all benefiting from the program and we are learning together. I’m sure glad I stuck with it and thanks to all the staff efforts and methods of help. I’m standing with my head high. I’m proud of what I’ve become.” Our Batterer Intervention Program focuses on educating and guiding individuals to prevent future abuse.
