Hello all, I need your help! Are you part of the exclusive <7% of Black women that make up senior level leadership in higher education? Do you know someone else who is? If so, I extend this invitation to you to participate in my research study. In my study, I hope to explore the experiences of Black women senior level leaders in higher education who works at a PWI/ HWI. As a Black woman who has achieved such a position, I would love to hear your story. Your perspective and voice can contribute to more equitable practices and opportunities to impact future generations. You are eligible for this study if you identify as a Black woman, currently work in a senior level leadership position at a DI, DII or DIII PWI/ HWI and have at least 3 years of senior level leadership experience. If you are interested in participating in this study, please complete the participant Pre-Data Questionnaire (https://lnkd.in/gRuZy5F2). Participation in this research study consists of participating in one one-hour virtual individual interview via Zoom and one 90-minute focus group virtual interview via Zoom. Additionally, participants will also be asked to complete a personal life timeline that will be collected via email. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. All information shared during the interviews will be kept confidential, and your identity and that of your university will remain protected through the use of pseudonyms.
