Our drivers are the backbone of the industry, and it’s important to show them just how much they’re valued. Here are 8 impactful ways to express your appreciation: 📝Personalized Thank You Notes: A sincere message can make a big difference. Stick it to their windshield and don’t forget the “XO” (jk!) 🍔Driver Appreciation Event: Host a lunch or BBQ to relax and celebrate - make sure a majority of the team is able to go or have a couple to make sure everyone gets to partake. 🎁Simple Gifts: Small tokens of gratitude go a long way - we got our drivers a tire thumper and our team some comfort food. 📱Public Recognition: Feature your drivers on social media or in newsletters when they stand out to you. Extra Time Off: Offer flexible scheduling or an extra day off. It could be the difference in driver retention and turnover. 💺Upgraded Amenities: Invest in comfort upgrades for the road like lumbar support or better coolers. 🍎Healthy Lifestyle Perks: Provide wellness kits or guides for truckers specifically or even gym memberships. 🎤Open Forum for Feedback: Show you value their input by listening - have a box in a place that ensures feedback is anonymous. Make a point of enacting some of the feedback you get to really show the effort. Make sure your drivers know how essential they are to achieve success! #TruckDriverAppreciationWeek #FleetManagement #ThankYouDrivers #ThankATrucker #NTDAW24

Truck drivers are the unsung heroes who ensure that our shelves are stocked, our hospitals have supplies, and our businesses keep running. They navigate long hours, challenging weather, time away from family, traffic, and, at times, risky situations, all to keep our economy moving. This Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the men and women who spend countless hours behind the wheel, making sure everything we need reaches us safely and on time. Your dedication and hard work are the backbone of our country. Thank you for everything you do! 🙌 #ThankATrucker #TruckDriverAppreciationWeek

On World Suicide Prevention Day, take a moment to recognize the mental health challenges faced by truckers, who often spend long hours on the road away from family and friends. The isolation, stress, lack of movement, and pressure of the job can take its toll. Mental health matters. If you're struggling, reach out—there are people ready to listen. And for those who know a trucker, check in with them regularly. A simple conversation can make all the difference. Even just feeling heard, seen, and appreciated. Let’s support our drivers not just in their work, but in their lives. Together, we can help prevent suicide and foster a community of care. If you are thinking about suicide, seek help by dialing 988 on any mobile phone or landline to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which is available 24/7 and is free and confidential. The hotline also offers help to non-English speakers. Another resource for truckers and their families is the National Association of Mental Illness, which offers a free crisis helpline and other mental health resources throughout the United States. Reach the helpline by phone at 800-950-6264 or text 62640. #WorldSuicidPreventionDay #MentalHealthMatters #SupportTruckers #YouAreNotAlone

Today, we celebrate a monumental achievement for our CFO, Kristi, who has been invited to join the Board of the [TAG] Minnesota Trucking Association! For Kristi, this isn’t just another role. Her dedication over the years and her work with the MTA Golf Committee and the MTA Foundation has now led her to this incredible opportunity. Kristi shared with us that she’s been hoping for this for years, and now that it's here, she’s incredibly excited to meet her fellow board members and work alongside them to continue shaping the future of trucking in Minnesota. This moment is a testament to Kristi’s hard work, passion, and leadership. Please join us in congratulating her on this achievement!

The CVSA's Brake Safety Week is this 25th through the 31st. This initiative is a brake-safety awareness and outreach opportunity and violation data collection project. During the event, CVSA-certified inspectors will conduct routine commercial motor vehicle inspections throughout the week, focusing on brake systems and components. Commercial motor vehicles found to have brake-related out-of-service violations will be removed from roadways until those violations are corrected.
