    We are still excited about the launch of our ECOPlanet Unicem, Nigeria's First Low Carbon Multipurpose Cement, which held last week in Enugu state. Through the launch of the ECOPlanet Unicem cement, we are delivering on our mission to decarbonize our operations without compromising on quality and performance, while accelerating the adoption of more sustainable building solutions in Nigeria.     As part of our efforts to foster sustainable growth and development within our host communities, we recently launched the Welding and Fabrication Program for 20 youths from our host communities in Cross River State. This initiative underscores Lafarge's commitment to sustainable community development and aims to equip individuals with valuable industrial skills. The participants will undergo comprehensive training in welding and fabrication for eight months, in order to make them become proficient and certified in their field. In attendance to commemorate the launch of this project were – Cross River State Commissioner for Youth, Barr Ijom Ukam, Mfamosing Plant Manager, Milad Hanna, employees of Lafarge Africa, beneficiaries and other stakeholders. #LafargeAfrica
