  • It is with great pleasure to announce the appointment of Pushpa Siddalingaiah at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa as Director of Rooms.   Pushpa’s career expands over 12 years in hospitality. Her experience ranges from various leadership titles in housekeeping and rooms with her experience extending to such hotels as the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, the Hotel Indigo DTLA, an IHG property and the Shay, a Destination by Hyatt in Culver City. Most recently, Pushpa served as the Director of Housekeeping at the Beverly Hilton, where she excelled in achieving high service scores and consistent audits from Forbes Travel Guide, in addition to improving the overall guest experience by supporting front office and property operations.   Pushpa’s experience and hospitality knowledge will help continue to improve the guest experience at Laguna Cliffs Marriott & Spa.   • It is with great pleasure to announce the addition of Alyssa Pena as Food & Beverage Manager at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa   Alyssa was previously a Food and Beverage Manager for Balboa Bay Club and Resort located in Newport Beach. Prior her experience expanded to being a Front of the House Manager at La Quinta Cliffhouse Grill and Bar. Her career has expanded from Administrative Assistant to FCC Provider. We are excited to see Alyssa’s contributions to our food and beverage outlets.   Please join me in welcoming Alyssa Pena to the Laguna Cliffs family!

  • We are excited to announce our new Senior Food & Beverage Manager Shaun Sweeney!   Shaun’s career includes over 15 years in the food & beverage department. Shaun began his career as a Beverage Trainer with Walt Disney World Resorts. He moved up to a Banquet Beverage Manager at Hilton hotels and worked over 4 years as a Restaurant General Manager for Marriott Resorts International in Hawaii and Florida. Most recently Shaun was a Multi-Store General Manager for Fat Tuesday Corporation. Shaun’s experience with developing and cultivating his teams within Luxury Resort will help oversee the Food & Beverage outlets.   Welcome to the team Shaun!

  • We are excited to announce the appointment of Lawrence Villarreal as Director of Housekeeping at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa   Lawrence’s career encompasses over 16 years in the hospitality industry. Lawrence has been with Omni Hotels & Resorts for over 6 years in the housekeeping department holding roles of Assistant Director of Housekeeping and most recently Director of Housekeeping. Previous to that, he held the numerous roles such as Director of Housekeeping at Le Meridien Delfina Hotel, Housekeeping Manager at Hotel Angeleno and Housekeeping Supervisor at SLS Hotel. Lawrence brings an abundance of hotel experience and I look forward to his leadership and contributions to the housekeeping department.   Welcome to the team Lawrence!

John’s career encompasses over 16 years in the hospitality industry. John has been with Omni Hotels & Resorts for the last year, most recently as the Central Director, Revenue Management at the Omni Hotels & Resorts Corporate Office. Previous to that, he held the role of Director of Revenue Management at several luxury hotels, including the Fairmont San Jose, Ritz Carlton San Francisco, and Mandarin Oriental Washington DC. He also was the Area Director of Revenue Management for Interstate Hotels, overseeing multiple properties. Welcome to the team John!
