We are excited to announce the selection of Jennifer Garrigan as our new Director of Counseling and Health Services, effective Monday, November 11. With a distinguished career of more than 10 years in K-12 counseling, mental health services, and student support, Ms. Garrigan brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for student wellness to her new role. Ms. Garrigan will join our Organizational Services team and be responsible for advancing our mental health programs, strengthening social-emotional learning, and enhancing crisis response capabilities to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all. We are confident that her leadership will further amplify our commitment to supporting the mental health and wellness of our students, staff, and community. #growLT

Emerging leaders from across LTISD gathered today to kick off our Aspiring Leadership Academy. This program empowers motivated individuals in the district to lead, grow, and transform the future of leadership in LT. #growLT

Yesterday, Lake Pointe Elementary School was thrilled to welcome back Buck—one of our favorite four-legged friends! The school's beloved therapy dog will be visiting LPE twice a month this year, bringing emotional, social, and academic support to students and staff—and, of course, plenty of smiles along the way! #growLT

Lake Travis ISD is honored to receive a $15,000 gift from the Assistance League of Austin to help reduce school lunch debt. This generous donation will lift a financial burden for many of our families, allowing LTISD to focus on supporting student success. We are grateful to ALA for this incredible investment in our community and congratulate their volunteers as they celebrate 50 years of service. Together, we're ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive!

Huge congratulations to Cameron Chalmers, one of only 10 recipients of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Community Leader Award presented by Community Coffee!
