Candle making fun led by Alvéole 🐝 We had such a great time making candles from scratch with hot melting pots of beeswax on a crisp October day in our breakroom! The workshop was led by our amazing urban beekeeping vendor, Alvéole, and our lovely beekeeper, Niya Weedon, who always shares fascinating new insights about our bees each time she visits. We each got to take home a pair of handmade candles, and we learned that bees are among the few eusocial insects capable of building their homes from their own bodies. Specifically, honeybees secrete wax from specialized glands on their abdomens to construct their hives. Want to keep up with our friendly beehive? We had a great time hosting brokers at Estelle Creek last week! 🏗️ Estelle Creek is an industrial park comprised of two new construction Class A warehouse/distribution buildings we have currently under development in Irving, TX. This park is strategically located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and immediately adjacent to the DFW International Airport.
