Stay safe in this hot Texas weather by following some heat safety tips: 1. Stay hydrated: make sure to drink plenty of water--even if you don't feel thirsty at the moment. 2. Try to avoid going out in the hottest part of the day--run errands early or wait until the sun is going down. 3. Dress in light layers so you can remove a layer if you get too hot. 4. Indoor activities: find things to do inside, especially if there's a heat advisory for weather.
