Last week, our Tallahassee-based Landmark Construction team celebrated topping out The Mark Tallahassee, marking a significant milestone for this student housing community.   Located steps from Florida State University's campus, The Mark will feature three buildings offering a range of floor plans from studios to six-bedroom options, including VIP penthouse-style units with upgraded technology and appliance packages. The development boasts 30,000 square feet of amenities, including an 8,900-square-foot rooftop clubhouse and a 9,000-square-foot outdoor pool deck with expansive views, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and collaborative spaces designed to enhance the student living experience.   Congratulations to our dedicated construction crew on this achievement - we look forward to watching this project continue to take shape!

Landmark Properties, in partnership with Peninsula Investments Group, has closed on the acquisition of a 1.56-acre site adjacent to the University of Connecticut's main campus in Storrs, CT. The firm will begin construction on The Mark Mansfield, a 738-bed student housing community, in late 2025 with Landmark Construction serving as the general contractor. Located within walking distance of UConn's academic buildings, student center, and athletic complexes, The Mark Mansfield will feature fully furnished residences with high-end finishes, robust amenities, and approximately 7,000 square feet of retail space for the popular Huskies Tavern. This will be Landmark's second asset in the Storrs market, joining The Standard at Four Corners which is scheduled to deliver in Fall 2025.   Read more about The Mark Mansfield below!

Landmark Properties is excited to share a number of promotions and changes within our leadership team. Wes Rogers will take on the role of Chairman while maintaining his position as CEO, where he will continue to guide the strategic direction for the firm. Walt Templin has been promoted to President and Chief Investment Officer, where he will oversee all aspects of the firm's investment strategy. The company has also elevated three other senior team members: Jason Doornbos to Chief Development Officer, Art Templin to Chief Operating Officer of Development and Construction, and Porter McDonald to Executive Managing Director of Investment. These strategic promotions support Landmark's continued growth in U.S. student housing and build-to-rent sectors, as well as expansion into UK and European markets and traditional multifamily.
