Pumpkins aren’t just for Halloween! 🎃 #DYK that one giant pumpkin can mature in as little as three months to feed a family of up to ten people? In #Malawi, our teammates on the Centre for Agricultural Transformation project hosted a giant pumpkin demo earlier this year at LUANAR-Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, encouraging smallholder farmers to start planting giant pumpkins to help alleviate hunger during lean periods before the harvest.
