MetaverseME Ltd partners with LAOS Network to merge Free-2-Play game mechanics with Web3.
We are excited to announce our partnership centered around a shared vision of merging Free-to-Play (F2P) user acquisition and retention with Web3 ownership.
The monetization model for F2P games relies on achieving high install volumes, with the understanding that only a small percentage of users will make in-game purchases. This approach encounters significant challenges in the Web3 space, where in-game assets are tokenized on the blockchain.
High transaction fees and network limitations create bottlenecks, making it challenging for Web3 games to support the large user bases that F2P titles typically depend on.
LAOS Network’s cutting-edge technology, which enables scalable asset minting across multiple blockchains, allows F2P games to seamlessly generate large quantities of in-game assets for every player, regardless of whether they make purchases. This breakthrough capability removes a key barrier to adoption, enabling Free-to-Play mechanics to thrive in a blockchain environment.
MetaverseME plans to leverage this innovation in their upcoming F2P releases, paving the way for a new era of blockchain gaming. The ME! GamerID will provide the foundation for building digital collectibles and Web3 apps with a single sign-on account that seamlessly integrates with the Hedera EVM.
Together with LAOS, MetaverseME can deploy significant numbers of digital in-game assets, while addressing the typical concerns about the costs associated with F2P gaming in Web3.
LAOS is a valuable building block to our vision of providing fluid, seamless gaming and in-game digital asset interoperability across the Hedera EVM.
Initially these assets will be integrated into the new beta release of the ME! Avatar App for Android and iOS, followed by the upcoming multiplayer football game KickOff Evolution, and other games, as part of the MetaverseME ecosystem.
