How big...I mean small...is Last Energy's micromodular PWR-20? This is a prototype of the PWR-20's entire nuclear island, contained in one module, compared to Big Carl's hook, the crane used at Hinkley Point C. We love all nuclear. Bigger plants provide Gigawatts of clean, baseload power while the PWR-20 can quickly fabricated, transported easily to site, and rapidly assembled using standard equipment. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Nuclear Energy Summit convened today in Brussels. With 37 political leaders and over 300 industry and civil society representatives, this is the first-ever summit of heads of state on nuclear energy. In answering the question: what would it take for nuclear to make a substantial impact on our climate targets?
