We’re proud to share the highlights from our recent webinar, “Visiones y Voces: Mujeres que Transforman la Cadena de Suministro en México”! The event was a fantastic success, with a high turnout and engaging discussions. We were honored to have esteemed leaders like Fernanda Guarro, Ricardo G. and Nancy D. , who shared invaluable insights on metrics and strategies to advance women in the logistics and supply chain sectors. Their thoughts on equitable labor division and the crucial role of mentorship were both inspiring and actionable. This event also marked the exciting launch of our partnership with ConaLog. Together, we’re committed to moving from words to action, aiming to enhance female representation in leadership roles within the industry. A special thanks to Sandra Aragonez for leading such an inspiring conversation and championing this partnership, and also thanks to our very own Latina Chief Lizette Ibarra for hosting the group. We look forward to more initiatives that drive diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Stay tuned for future events and updates! #LatinaChief #DiversityAndInclusion #WomenInLeadership #SupplyChain #Partnership #ConaLog #WomenEmpowerment #EventRecap

Is there a gender gap when it comes to promotions? Women in the U.S. hold more than half of entry-level roles, but workforce studies have shown that women are less likely to be hired into certain senior-level leadership roles — and may encounter fewer opportunities for career advancement as a result. That trend appears to hold true for women seeking non-leadership positions as well: The latest findings from LinkedIn's Economic Graph show that, among U.S. workers in non-management roles, a greater share of men are promoted into more senior-level jobs than women in a given year. An analysis of entry-level workers over the past five years found that 10.26% of men moved into a more senior position after one year, compared to 10.02% of women. That means for every 1,000 men working an entry-level job, about 103 will receive a promotion in a given year — compared to just 100 of every 1,000 women. At a national level, this gap represents tens of thousands more men getting promoted annually than women. Senior, non-management employees also experience a small but noticeable gender gap, with 5.32% of men moving on to a more senior role one year later compared to 5.18% of women. Do these findings line up with what you would expect to see? What can employers do to encourage women who want to advance their careers? ✍️: Rachel Cromidas 📊: Caroline Liongosari, Matthew Baird

"Women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world." – Hillary Clinton 💫 As we embrace International Women's Day, this profound observation echoes a truth we witness every day. It's a call to action, reminding us that while women have made significant strides, there remains a vast potential yet to be realized. Especially within the corridors of corporations, the presence of women of color in leadership positions is not just about filling a quota, it's about tapping into a deep well of innovation, perspective, and skill, which ultimately drives business profitability. 🌍👩🏽💼 With women comprising about half the workforce but only a fraction of executive roles, we're not maximizing our collective human capital. We're not just missing out on leaders; we're missing out on a breadth of ideas that could shape the future of business and society. 📈🚀 As leaders, entrepreneurs, and advocates, how can we harness this reservoir of talent? Here's where we start: 1. Cultivate Growth: Develop platforms for women to skill up, connecting them to training and development opportunities that propel them into leadership roles. 🛠 2. Promote Visibility: Create spaces where women's achievements and stories are seen and heard, magnifying the roadmap for success and inspiring future generations. 👀✨ 3. Drive Systemic Change: Push for organizational transformations that dismantle the barriers to women's advancement, fostering environments where talent thrives, regardless of gender. 🔧🌐 Let's not just recognize the potential of women today; let's commit to unleashing it. What role will you play in activating the most significant talent pool of our time? 💞 The future is not predetermined; it's ours to define. #InternationalWomensDay #UnleashPotential #WomenInLeadership #LatinaChief #SkillsFirstDiversityForwardHiring. 🌟
