Empowering Latinas... One woman at a time.
About us
LATINA Style Inc. has become the most influential publication reaching the contemporary Hispanic woman. LATINA Style broke new ground in 1994 by launching the first national company dedicated to the needs and concerns of the contemporary Latina professional workingwoman and the Latina business owner in the United States. Congratulations Shannon Morales for being selected as the Entrepreneur of the Year for Philadelphia!🌟💐 Shannon Morales is a proud Afro-Latina, mother of 3 daughters, and social entrepreneur. She started her first company, Tribaja.co after experiencing bias in the workplace and set out to create a better way to connect professionals with inclusive brands. By combining “tribe” and trabaja, the Spanish word for “work,” Tribaja is a name that reflects the business’s shift into a “community” of people with an interest in tech and startup careers, including an active Slack group. Shannon realized that other recruiting platforms are built exclusively upon acquiring clients. Instead, she focused on Tribaja’s ability to develop and upskill the community before all else. #entrepreneuroftheyear #latina #businessowner #tech #latinaentrepreneurs #philadelphia

We had the pleasure of attending the LATINA Style, Inc. VIP Reception, part of the 2024 LATINA Style Business Series, in Philadelphia! This impactful event celebrated Latina entrepreneurs, honoring leaders like Mercy Mosquera, Co-Owner of Tierra Colombiana Inc., Monica Parilla, Owner of Marz Auto Central, and Angie Millan, Co-Founder of the Dominican American Chamber of Commerce, among many other incredible Latinas. Our board member, Tiffany T., Senior Vice President of Diverse Segments, Representation & Inclusion at Wells Fargo, served as Mistress of Ceremony, adding a special touch to an unforgettable event. You can never get enough of being in uplifting environments that drive change and empowerment! Hi friends! Today, I had the privilege of attending the LATINA Style, Inc., first business series in Philadelphia. It was inspiring to hear from incredible panelists on key topics like launching a business, integrating technology into business strategy, and the importance of prioritizing our well-being in today’s fast-paced world. I’m always energized by conversations that foster growth and allow us to learn from one another’s experiences. Very excited to dive into this incredible book by the amazing Valeria Aloe!
