LatinaMedia.Co is proud to be a founding member of the Latino Media Consortium a new initiative to empower more Latino voters and communities with reliable, culturally relevant news and information. As a critical election nears, we know the crisis in news and information won’t be solved without expanding Latino media infrastructure for the nation’s 64M Latinos, who, in just six short years, will swell to 72M. That’s why the Latino Media Consortium is working to raise $100M in funds for newsrooms and media platforms like ours over the next five years. With transformative investment, we will be able to: ⚡Invest in our writing staff ⚡Build essential digital infrastructure to take LatinaMedia.Co to the next level ⚡Create more content than ever before Please help us advance this important work — share this post and read about our why: https://lnkd.in/gAkUsi-H #72x2030 #LMC

About us
Latinas are the least represented group in media when compared to our actual population. In politics, news, films, and books, our stories rarely get told and when they do, they often rely on damaging stereotypes. Latinas need to be creating, starring, and reviewing our own stories. It’s time we have a say in deciding how we are represented. We created Mujeres Problemáticas: Latina Media Reviews to uplift the Latina perspective and make our viewpoints part of the mainstream conversation.
