I need your help....... A potential customer of ours has an expiring laundry contract they signed 8 years ago with another company, which I won't disclose. It went well for them for the first couple of years. Recently the provider has not been sending the customer checks and claims that they have not been hitting the minimums. They also haven't sent a single statement showing proof of this. When asked why, they said, "We usually don't send a monthly statement unless the customer asks". Moving along The customer reached out to us for a new contract, which we sent over with our amazing terms, conditions, and equipment choice. The customer was ready to sign and told the previous customer to come pick up their equipment. This is when things got sticky. There is an auto-renewal every 8 years as well as other one-sided conditions to keep the customer stuck with them practically forever. Read the provisions mentioned in the reply email below. Does anyone have any advice on how we can help this customer get out of this so-called "business agreement"? Seems very one-sided and its beyond me why this provider is desperate to keep this job if the machines are "officially" not making money. All the manufacturers have different opinions, and I'd love to hear your's! 🏘️ From a property manager's perspective and 🏠 residents as end users, what's your take? 👕 Speed Queen Multi-Housing only offers machines in white. Wascomat opts for grey for their front load washers and dryers, but they provide a white option for top load washers. LG offers both colors for all washers and dryers. ⚪ Maytag sticks to white across the board.

🚨 Experiencing constant dryer issues in your building's laundry rooms? This week, a friend asked for help with a building where dryers were displaying error codes daily. They had a local company come down multiple times, replacing many thermostats and computer boards, and also had the vents cleaned thoroughly.
