For the 7th time, Layer8 Consulting attended Fortinet's Global Partner Conference Accelerate in early April. As not to disappoint, Fortinet put on a remarkable showing. Always interesting meeting other Partners and Fortinet employees. Our team got a lot of great technical info from the Tech Expo this year on SASE, SOAR, SD-WAN and other useful technologies. Effective 1/2/24, RJ Howell of Layer8 Consulting has been promoted and now joins our #Layer8 Consultant & Engineering team. For the first part of his career at Layer8, RJ was key in growing our Managed Security Services Platform (MSSP). He will now be providing multiple clients with design & implementation services. Amy Quesinberry, President of Layer8 Consulting, spent 2 days in New York City last week attending The Women of the Channel Leadership Summit East hosted by #CRN. The summit included motivational keynotes, channel trends, interactive peer panels and personal networking opportunities - all focused on navigating the workplace and helping develop professional, corporate and personal goals. Earlier this week, Brandon Artines our Director of Technical Delivery and Sr. Consultant, passed his Fortinet NSE7 exam. While certainly an accomplishment in itself, Brandon did this after a week in Nashville at the Fortinet Experts Summit and keeping his normal busy work week. Congrats Brandon!!!
