✨ Employee Spotlight: Elizabeth Barrientos ✨ Despite her busy schedule, Liz always ensures that each patient feels heard and valued, making a lasting impact on their experience. Thank you, Liz, for your dedication, warmth, and incredible work ethic! You’re truly amazing, and we’re grateful to have you on our team! ❤️👏🏾🙏🏾 #EmployeeSpotlight #ThankYouLiz #TeamLBU #CaringProfessionals “After seeing our usual patients for today, one of the patients we saw went out of her way to track me down and tell me a few glowing compliments about Liz. She said Liz is always so sweet and kind. She has a beautiful personality. She said she knows that Liz is busy with other patients but she never feels like she is rushing with her. And that Liz always takes the time to listen. Our whole visit was in Spanish but she switched to English to say all this to me. I think she switched to make sure I captured how truly grateful she was. I told this to Cesar and he said to email y’all. So here it is. I, of course, agree with the patient. Without Liz, I would be running late most days, but she is really good at mult-tasking and keeping me on time. She is encouraging, funny, sweet, and has the hugest heart! ❤️ She is truly amazing. Thanks Liz for all you do! 😄👏🏾🙏🏾 -         Dr. Janai Okorodudu, LBU West Dallas “Liz is one of the more kind and caring individuals I have met. It is a great privilege to get to work with her. Her passion for life lived serving and helping others is evident, our patient’s lives are made better daily with her help.” -         Dr. Steven Hoffman, LBU West Dallas

I’m excited to share some wonderful recognition for Carolyn, whose innovative approach has significantly enhanced our services. Here’s a glowing endorsement from Ginnie Wagner, BS/IBCLC, NE/BF Coordinator for WIC: Carolyn is an innovative thinker! Our clinic is the only WIC site in Texas that offers WIC benefits to be added to card at curbside, making it much more convenient for our clients. She was able to put this plan in motion during the pandemic so that patients could still receive their benefits. She keeps finding ways to think “outside the box” to meet the needs of our WIC community. She goes above and beyond to see that our patients’ concerns are heard, and that they feel cared for. Carolyn also knows the importance of making sure her staff can take much needed time off when requested. She is a great leader for an incredibly hard-working staff! -      Ginnie Wagner, BS/IBCLC, NE/BF Coordinator, WIC
