Lead Balloon

A Lead Balloon is a heavier-than-air magical flying contraption that’s so impossible that it’s completely awesome. After seeing a whole fleet of them lift off towards the sky during an infamous mescaline high, we knew our destiny once and for all. With a nod to irony and a healthy spit in the face to common sense, Lead Balloon was born in the midst of the global economic turmoil of 2008/2009. Smelted from the ground up as an original content production house, Lead Balloon joins the Psychic Bunny family: a group of smart, small companies doing exceptional, high-value work. Lead Balloon’s first two projects represent the diversity and versatility of the company and its founders: the feature-length suspense slasher film The Echo Game and the irreverent web comedy Coma, Period. Both projects are slated for a 2009 release. In the meantime, expect more in development from the kindly folks at Lead Balloon. The much-maligned actual lead balloon really can float (we saw it on Mythbusters!) and we take our inspiration from that hearty little guy, flying high against all odds. Lead Balloon is all about ideas that are risky, exciting, and (though improbable) truly soar.
