There’s a common misconception many of us have about the words "frustration" and "aggravation." While we often use these words interchangeably, they actually refer to different experiences. Frustration is internal. It’s an emotion that rises within you when you face obstacles or challenges. Often, it’s your internal narratives that can either increase or decrease the frustration you feel. On the other hand, aggravation comes from external sources. It’s like stepping on a thorn barefoot. The pain comes from something you usually can’t control. Recognizing aggravation as valuable information helps us take back control.
