Congratulations to LP alum Elizabeth (Lisa) Barrios and the entire Latino community of Pasadena on a successful event on Saturday, Oct. 5! The 26th Annual Pasadena Latino Pride Parade & Festival was indeed a celebración. Lisa is a lifelong Pasadena resident and the District Council Liaison for City of Pasadena Councilmember Justin Jones. Along with Vannia De La Cuba, Deputy to Mayor Victor Gordo, Lisa served as co-chair of the festival. And what a festival it was! Grand Marshalls were astronaut José Moreno Hernández and educator Martin Dorado of Pasadena Unified's Madison Elementary. The festival applauded our local Latino culture and history. A day of family and fun! #communityleadership #latinoheritagemonth
