Leadership TriCounty Scholarship Update 📢 Last Thursday, Stephanie Freed and Amanda Eckert spent the day focused on Human Centered Leadership, diving into the DISC Method of Communication, and visiting the Steel River Playhouse! While I knew the playhouse existed, I never knew everything it contained inside. It is truly an asset to our town and surrounding community. I can't wait to catch a show and support the local arts." What a day of connection, collaboration, and exploration! The Leadership TriCounty Class of 2025 spent a day looking through the lens of Human Centered Leadership. First up, an opportunity to meet with Pottstown Mayor, Stephanie Henrick, who shared her leadership journey and demonstrated Authenticity in action. Then the cohort dove into exploring the DISC Method of Communication and effective strategies for communicating with and supporting team members. A fabulous lunch was sponsored by Brakeman's Cafe thank you so much Traci and team, it was delicious!! Next up, a trip to Steel River Playhouse for a tour and the opportunity to learn about the incredible resource the theater is to our local community. What a great opportunity to learn how the arts can help young people develop confidence, explore creativity, and develop communication and collaboration skills! Tremendous hearing the intentional dedication to inclusivity and belonging for all and some of the new offerings being provided by the Theater. HUGE THANKS to Steel River for providing a ticket to each cohort member so they could experience a production!! Then we headed back to campus and had the opportunity to meet with Lauren Williams, Chief Boss Lady at Workplace Harmony to learn about creative staffing strategies and the importance of the Candidate Experience. We wrapped up the day hearing each cohort member their Leadership Statement which is their personal Leadership mission statement. Next up, Non-Profit Day in November!

Class is officially in session for our Leadership TriCounty scholarship recipients! Last Thursday, they kicked off the program with their first day of class, and on Friday, they navigated the ropes course at Althouse Arboretum. I recently had the honor of photographing this year’s Leadership TriCounty class, organized by the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce. This program is all about enhancing leadership abilities and building a strong network among local professionals from various sectors. Through site tours, workshops, and public speaking exercises, each participant strengthens their connection to the TriCounty community and grows their leadership toolkit. Having gone through the program myself, big shout out to Class of 2023 #bestclassever, I can personally speak to its impact. Under the leadership of Jenna Armato, a fantastic coach with expertise in leadership development, communication, and entrepreneurship, the class benefits from a truly engaging and empowering experience. Welcome Leadership TriCounty Class of 2025!! It was an exciting first day for this year's cohort who were greeted with a warm welcome from Leadership TriCounty Alumni. Sincere thanks to all of the Alumni who came to show their support for this year's cohort including Alumni speakers, Kirsten Groff from CHDC and Christine Morris from MCCC. The cohort had the opportunity for an incredible professional headshot experience provided by Leadership TriCounty Alum Sharon Nihart- Headshot and Branding Photographer. It was a morning of connection and excitement as the cohort had the opportunity to network with Alumni and get to know each other. Then we dove head first into exploring Leadership from the Inside Out, discussing what Leadership is and identifying the specific Leadership qualities each person wants to put into ACTION. Today we head to Althouse Arboretum for the longstanding class favorite - Teambuilding on the low ropes course! The Leadership TriCounty Class of 2025 met for the first time yesterday for Orientation. It was an exciting day of cohort members having the opportunity to connect and learn about each other and explore the expectations of the program.
