We help make sports happen

About us

LeagueApps is the operating system and community for youth and local sports leaders—providing them with the technology and professional network they need to succeed. We’re building a movement behind our mission—creating amazing sports experiences for all. Through our FundPlay program, we donate a percentage of every dollar spent on our platform back to the communities and families that need it. Our goal is to impact 500,000 underserved kids by 2022. As Nelson Mandela said, “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does.” At LeagueApps, we agree. Mission-driven at our core, every member of our team is committed to a world where all kids and communities can benefit from youth sports. We help leading youth sports organizations operate, engage, and win with the industry's most comprehensive youth sports management platform. We power thousands of clubs, camps, tournaments, and leagues, and reach millions of participants each day. Through our FundPlay program, we provide support to sports-based youth development organizations that bring sports experiences to hundreds of thousands of underserved kids and communities. We are also founding members and leaders of the PLAY Sports Coalition, a group that advocates for youth sports at the national level. Beyond our technology, we’re focused on developing the industry’s youth sports leaders through our NextUp: Youth Sports Management Community—providing them with opportunities for professional development and networking. Through events, content, and leadership development programming, we’re taking youth sports management to the next level. LeagueApps is positioned for continued rapid growth, with financing from leading institutional and individual investors including Contour Venture Partners, Major League Baseball, Elysian Park Ventures, Julie Foudy, and Shane Battier.

Our partners are constantly giving us reasons to be proud of the work they're doing—and we love to see the impact they're making in their communities. TPH Academy is a partner that delivers impact through partnership, community, and growth and development. Their team is constantly impressing our team with how they innovate their programming—but most of all we're impressive by their value system and the strength of their relationship with us and all of their partners and stakeholders. The team at TPH just shared their 2023-2024 Impact Report with us—and to say we're impressed is an understatement. We're so proud of the small part we play in making this kind of impact happen. So, congrats to Alan K., Nathan Bowen, Francis Anzalone, and the entire TPH team on an impactful and meaningful 2023-2024. Here are some highlights from their Impact Report and the full report here: https://lnkd.in/eRd5NDRR

What makes #NextUp so different from other conferences of its kind? Well first of all, NextUp is the only youth sports management conference—and it brings together today's most impressive minds in youth sports. Second, it's not just youth sports leaders up on the stage—it's leading minds across every industry that can be helpful to organizers and coaches in taking their organization to the next level. With that said, we're so excited to announce our first round of speakers: Billy Welcome, the CEO & Co-Founder of All In Athletics Karl Rectanus—Entrepreneur & Founder of LearnPlatform by Instructure Adam Ewing—Vice President of Academics at TPH Academy To register for this year's conference, click here: https://lnkd.in/gjWinV8W

This August our Volunteer Champion is the Queen of FundPlay Day herself, 🐦 Emily Blackwell. Emily exercises all of the SPORTSDOG values in her work, but this August we want to honor Emily for being a #differencemaker. Emily volunteered in multiple FundPlay Foundation Day activities, lending her #results and #passion for multiple projects. On August 24th, Emily spent the day volunteering at Fight For Children’s Youth Sports Day alongside 2023 Volunteer Champion, Javie Rios. Emily also raised money for FundPlay during our 2024 FundPlay Drive. Thank you, Emily, for your service to youth in your community and across the country!

We are thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with Junior Volleyball Association (JVA)—the ONLY association that is 100% focused on junior volleyball and the needs of junior clubs. Through this partnership, LeagueApps LeagueApps will become the "preferred registration, payments, and facilities solution" for all JVA clubs, solidifying its role as a trusted technology provider within the volleyball community. “We want to provide [JVA clubs] with solutions, mentorship, and get them connected in the community of club directors because what we have learned is that our club directors are so willing to give and help,” says Briana Schunzel, Director of Marketing, Education and Partner Development at JVA. “Naturally it makes sense to align ourselves with an organization like LeagueApps who’s invested in the leaders of the junior volleyball community. We're starting a book club at LeagueApps...of some sort 📖 🪱👓🏀⚾ Let's face it, youth sports operators lack opportunities for formal skill development and education 🏫📚 But there's so much that goes into making sports happen in communities 👊💥 So, we're sharing a few of our favorite books with valuable insights and lessons that can be applied to creating amazing sports experiences for all. This week the LeaguApps teams sent out 100+ copies to youth sports operators of Trillion Dollar Coach and The Captain Class by Sam Walker (pst, driven team captain's are the key to winning!) I also shared a few of my favorite book recommendations in the video below. Thanks to Melissa Wickes for making the video a bit less cringe. Ping us if you'd like a copy, and we'll get one out to you! More books for youth sports operators to come!
