United we stand. Lean In Latinas stands with Puerto Ricans and all Latinos in condemning the hurtful and derogatory comments made at a recent political rally. The insult to Latinos is unacceptable, and we stand together against this disrespect. Our collective voice is powerful, and it is crucial that we speak out. #UnitedForLatinos #StandTogether #LeanInLatinas

Shout out to Lean In Latinas, Latinas Los Angeles co-founders Marisa Garcia and Diana Bernal for an amazing October meetup! 🗓️ As the year draws to a close, it’s important to remember that burnout is a thing. Knowing what the signs and symptoms are and having a plan to keep healthy is key. 🔑 This is what they talked about today in their Circle meeting, and about how self care tactics include taking a walk, shutting off the phone for 30 minutes or doing a little yoga. Do things that make you feel energized, including rest. Lots of rest. 💕Being kind to yourself was another solution. A simple affirmation can go a long way to warding off the negative self-talk that can seep in when burnout is on the horizon. 👯♀️And if things get really tough, reach out to your Lean In Latinas sisters for a pick me up. They will always be there to tell you, “You got this!” 💥Two more meetings this year. Want to join them? DM Marissa for details. https://lnkd.in/gHc5R2Qw #latinastakecharge #selfcare #latinasupportlatinas
