The University of Oklahoma, SONIC® Drive-In and LEARFIELD’s Sooner Sports Properties announce a landmark sponsorship to see the SONIC logo prominently featured on Love’s Field, home of the No. 1 Oklahoma Softball team. This enhanced partnership makes Oklahoma the first college athletics program to feature an on-field logo sponsorship at a female-only, outdoor sports venue. The multi-year deal will see the SONIC logo painted on both the first and third baselines of OU’s Love’s Field. The logo debuts tonight during the SEC opener against South Carolina. It's a milestone for women’s sports and a testament to the incredible growth of women’s athletics. Emily Briske, Manager of Business Development, is the first female to sell a female-specific venue’s on field logo in Learfield. Working with Leah Fogel, Integrated Marketing Communications Manager at SONIC, to make this historic moment possible. Kansas Athletics and Jayhawk Sports Properties announce a multi-year partnership extension with Meritrust Credit Union, naming it the Official Credit Union of Kansas Athletics. The partnership extension includes presenting sponsorship of two Learfield Studios original content series – Beyond the Booth and Beyond the Phog – featuring behind the scenes content of the Kansas football and men’s basketball programs.
