Standards Assessment Inventory (SAI)
Quality Management System (QMS) Software
Assessing Professional Learning The first step toward school improvement is assessing the current state of professional learning in your school or system. The Standards Assessment Inventory (SAI) is a confidential, web-based survey that schools and districts have used to measure their alignment with the standards, identify strengths and areas of focus in their professional learning, and plan professional learning that gets results for teachers and students. SAI results help schools and systems focus on the actions that contribute to higher-quality professional learning. The SAI collects school and system data and provides you with a detailed series of reports, resources, and data analysis tools to ensure you use your results to plan improvements that will impact teaching and learning in your system.

Learn about instructional coaching that supports high-quality curriculum implementation at Learning Forward’s 2024 Annual Conference, Dec. 8-11 In 2023, three districts that were in the early stages of implementing Illustrative Mathematics joined Learning Forward’s Curriculum-Based Professional Learning Network. In just one year, participating schools from Montgomery County Public Schools (MD), the School District of Philadelphia (PA), and Metro Nashville Public Schools (TN) saw strong growth in teacher practice and student outcomes. “I've honestly learned more in the last seven months than I probably have in the last 19 years; a lot of it I learned in December when we got to go to the Learning Forward Conference,” Jacquelyn Mariott, math content specialist at Montgomery County Public Schools, shared in April 2024. “For the instructional coaching we do, it’s making sure everything we’re doing is being done with purpose. It’s reminding our teachers, ‘You are great teachers! We’re just here to help you implement this curriculum that’s a little different from how you usually teach.’” Empower your coaches to accelerate teacher expertise and student growth.
