Hi All! We at Leavitt Elite are opening up our phone lines to anyone who has insurance and claims related questions after being affected by Hurricane Helene! You do not have to be a policyholder with us. We are happy to help anyone who needs it. 💙 Give us a call at (888) 230-0030. Please note: If you have experienced property damage and need to file a claim, we recommend that you, 1. File a claim(s) with your insurance carrier, THEN 2. Apply for assistance from FEMA. Here is some information from FEMA you might find useful: “FEMA may be able to help with serious needs, displacement, temporary lodging, basic home repair costs, personal property loss or other disaster-caused needs. There are multiple ways to apply, you can go online and apply by clicking here (https://lnkd.in/edviqCW), downloading the FEMA App or call 800-621-3362 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. You will need the following information below when you apply: -A current phone number where you can be contacted. -Your address at the time of the disaster and the address where you are now staying. -Your Social Security number. -A general list of damage and losses. -Banking information if you choose direct deposit. -If insured, the policy number or the agent and/or the company name If you have homeowners, renters or flood insurance, you should file a claim as soon as possible. FEMA cannot duplicate benefits for losses covered by insurance. If your policy does not cover all your disaster expenses, you may be eligible for federal assistance.”

So many of us in NC have been affected by hurricane Helene, but our hearts are especially heavy for the Tryon community and surrounding area. We are in shock over the damage and loss that area has sustained… 😔 Our Tryon office has been devastated, however our team is doing their best to continue supporting the community there. They are currently setting up in Columbus between the Court House and Trade Street Creamery, where they will be assisting community members who need to file claims and receive service on their insurance. For those who need to reach our Tryon office/staff, you can call the Tryon office number, which is being transferred to team members who are able and waiting to assist you. You can also call our main office number—(888) 230-0030—for assistance with claims, etc. Please join with us in prayer and support for Tryon, its residents, those who are still missing and their families, and our team members as they do their best to offer help.💙
