Had a great time earlier this month attending Wefunder's marketing partner retreat. It's been our mission at Left Coast Digital Studio to help early stage founders solve their biggest growth challenges. Make cool shit, for cool people, doing cool shit, with cool people. Credit to Alex Portera, the coolest dude, and the best storyteller in the startup world. That was the theme of my week, as we welcomed a bunch of fundraising coaches to the Wefunder office for a two day retreat. We focused on how we can help founders be more successful fundraising from their community. Many insights shared, with an emphasis on mission and impact. I believe all founders should work with a fundraising coach / quarterback / guide. Fundraising is really hard and frequently a top priority. In my experience, hiring a coach is a great investment for all founders who are serious about raising capital. They won't do it for you, but they'll optimize your time, strategy, and approach. A great way to start my year, full of motivation to kick ass in 2024.
