It’s amazing what a new partnership can bring to life! From conversation, to concept, to creation, this custom LHPxPVAMU Homecoming shirt represents the power of partnership and creativity. June 2024 - We met Tahir and his team at CLC’s HBCU Summit in Atlanta and were blown away by their intentional activity in the licensed apparel space, especially with HBCU’s. By July 2024, after a few more conversations and exchanging of ideas, our teams were in full speed planning & production mode! Fast-forward to October 2024…Our exclusive Homecoming T-shirt was released in the market & added to our bookstore. But why stop there? -We organized an intimate conversation with LHP Founder, Tahir Murray and young entrepreneurs in our College of Business - a radio interview with our campus station -KPVU 91.3fm -an interview with our student producers at our campus TV station- KPVU-TV, and -a meet & greet with our campus bookstore purchasing leaders Results- Inspired students, an elevated partnership and a Sold-out Homecoming Tee!☺️ Here’s to more collaborations that inspire! #Marcom #LHP #PVHomecoming2024 #PVHC2k24 #HBCU #Licensing LEGACY HISTORY PRIDE Prairie View A&M University Candace Johnson, MBA, MCD CLC

LegacyHistoryPride™ is proud to announce a thrilling partnership with NASCAR, celebrating the deep-rooted ties between motorsports and HBCUs. This officially licensed collaboration highlights the shared values of excellence, ambition, and community while offering fans and students alike a chance to engage with the fast-paced world of racing. ough this partnership, we aim to amplify the impact of NASCAR's commitment to HBCUs, including initiatives like the NASCAR Campus Lab Program, which was launched in 2023 by NASCAR employee and Howard University alumni Caryn Grant. This groundbreaking program offers students from HBCUs hands-on experience in the sports industry, providing real-world projects, mentorship from motorsports executives, and career preparation through mock interviews and resume reviews. Students who complete the program can also receive up to $5,000 in scholarship funds, as seen with the first cohort at Bethune-Cookman University, located just miles from NASCAR’s Daytona Beach headquarters. This collaboration also celebrates the achievements of trailblazing HBCU students and alumni in NASCAR, such as Winston-Salem State University senior Rajah Caruth, who won his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race in 2024, and John Cohen, a Grambling State University alum and owner of the New York Racing Team. Additionally, pioneers like Brehanna Daniels, a Norfolk State University standout and the first Black woman to compete as a pit crew member, and Brandon Thompson, a Clark Atlanta University alum and NASCAR’s Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion, represent the growing diversity in motorsports. Together, NASCAR and LegacyHistoryPride™ are creating unique opportunities for HBCU students and fans to experience the excitement of racing while honoring the achievements of Black professionals in the industry. This partnership embodies the spirit of innovation and progress, with more exciting projects to come.
