🚀 The Three C’s of a Memorable Brand Experience This week Team Legacy is attending NY Now’s 2025 Winter Market. One session we enjoyed focused on "Mastering the Retail C’s: Curation, Categories and Customer Connection." This got us thinking about the “Brand Experience C’s.” While we can think of countless relevant "C's" (scroll to the very end for more), here’s how to focus on a few of our favorites. When it comes to creating an unforgettable brand experience, there are three pillars that will elevate your brand activations and engagement strategies to the next level. Meet the Three C’s of Brand Experiences—Customization, (Authentic) Connections, and Customer-Centricity. 1. Customization Great experiences happen when they feel personal. Whether it’s a localized activation tailored to a specific audience or curated event details that reflect your brand’s unique personality, customization is key. We love a highly curated immersive brand space, such as a pop-up where everything—from the music to the food selection—resonates with your brand’s values and your customer’s lifestyle. This intentional level of detail leaves customers feeling seen, understood, and eager to come back for more. 2. (Authentic) Connections Today’s audiences crave authenticity—not just transactions but relationships. Build real connections by listening to your customers, engaging with their feedback, and aligning with their community. Think of the power of partnering with five authentic, local influencers who truly live the brand, versus relying on one influencer with a big following but little community engagement. These honest, meaningful connections can supercharge loyalty in ways you can’t fake. 3. Customer-Centric At the heart of every successful activation or experience, there’s a customer who feels valued. It’s not always about selling a product; it’s about showing customers they matter. Greet them with genuine warmth, create moments of delight, and make it clear that they are more than just a transaction. Want proof? The brands that customers love and advocate for are the ones that double down on understanding their audience’s needs, beliefs, and aspirations—and then reflect that in every interaction. Where will your brand go next? Some of the most memorable brand experiences—and the most admired brands—are built on these Three C’s. How are you customizing, connecting authentically, and being relentlessly customer-focused? 💬 We’d love to hear how you’re innovating in your brand experiences! Is experiential marketing on your 2025 radar? 🎯 According to HubSpot, 16% of marketers planned experiential marketing events for the first time last year—and that number is only expected to grow. If your 2025 marketing plan doesn’t budget for brand experiences, you could be missing out on invaluable one-to-one connections with your audience. Here are some of our predictions for 2025’s top brand experience trends: ✅ Bolder transparency from brands. Gen Z and Millennials demand honesty. From ingredients to sustainability practices, the brands that thrive this year are those that keep it real and build trust through transparency. ✅ Smaller, more curated events. It’s no longer about reach, it’s about niche. Gen Z buyers who grew up with personalized algorithms crave hyper-tailored experiences. The deeper you understand their individual interests, the more impact your event will have. ✅ Events in “hidden gem” locations. Think local, think unique. The best brand activations in 2025 will aim to uplift communities by uncovering intimate new venues or outdoor spots—perfect for a mobile tour or locally inspired festival. What hidden gem venues or open-air spaces can you reimagine to inspire and bring together a community? It’s not quite a “Welcome,” as R Jeffrey Susman has been a long-time trusted team member and valued contributor. It is more of a “Congratulations” on making the newly elevated role official and permanent. Congrats!
