Mr. Woods brings with him over 20 years of experience in education, encompassing roles as a teacher, mentor, coach, and administrator. Throughout his career, Principal Woods has had the privilege of working with students at the elementary, high school, and collegiate levels. His unwavering passion for education and dedication to student success have been the driving forces behind his achievements. “I’m tremendously thankful and excited for the opportunity to open a new campus in Alamo Ranch,” said Woods. “Legacy has become home for our family, and I’m honored to help bring a world-class educational experience to even more students and families in Texas.” Mr. Woods cherishes his marriage to his wife, Julie, and is a proud father of four children. In their free time, the Woods family enjoys watching movies, building LEGO creations, and making cherished memories together. We're honored to have Mr. Woods leading the way. With his wealth of experience and commitment to academic excellence, we're confident he'll create an enriching educational environment where students can thrive. Each of our principals are dedicated to their school, staff and students. They play a pivotal role in shaping the future of all our students throughout their educational journey. Let's come together as a Legacy family to celebrate our principals all month long! 📝 Any time throughout October, write a letter, note, or card for your campus principal. Let's flood our principals with words of encouragement, fun memories, and our thanks for all they do for our schools. Cards can be dropped off with your principal or the front office staff at your campus. 💻 Don't forget to check back on our Facebook and Instagram pages throughout October, as we'll be highlighting one of our incredible principals each day!   • LTS - Southwest Las Vegas was recently honored to host author Kentrell Martin for The Shelly's Adventures Experience. Kindergarten - 2nd grade students were invited to be part of an interactive reading of "Shelly Goes to the Zoo", where they learned over 30 signs in American Sign Language. Growing up with a deaf brother, Mr. Martin saw how the ways deaf people were underserved in their communities.     A Message From Superintendent Mia Vega 🍂 Have a Happy Fall Break! 🍂 At Legacy Traditional Schools our mission is to provide motivated students with the opportunity to achieve academic excellence in an accelerated, back-to-basics, safe learning environment taught by caring, knowledgeable, and highly effective educators in cooperation with supportive, involved parents. We can't believe it's nearly the end of our first quarter! We're incredibly proud of the ways our Legacy families have showed dedication to our mission so far.
