Learning through play extends beyond the classroom to homes, playgrounds, and communities. To better understand what makes playful learning successful, the LEGO Foundation and the Global Partnership for Education conducted action research in sub-Saharan Africa through GPE KIX. Every child dreams about what they’ll become when they grow up. But how can they prepare for a world that’s constantly evolving? Who could have predicted thirty years ago that drone pilot or content creator would become careers? Through play, children discover their path in life. They develop critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills - essentials for thriving in any future. The sooner we integrate learning through play into every home and classroom, the better we prepare our children for whatever the future holds. Playful writing is what we call #LearningThroughPlay and that is one way to make children enjoy writing. By using playful writing skills, you can make writing more playful and intuitive by building a 3D model of the story they are writing. In that way, they get the chance to act the story out.
