Meet Cindy Baker. Cindy found her passion for the homebuilding industry right out of college when she was working for a custom homebuilder. She joined Ryland in 2004 on their marketing team, but in 2008 Cindy left to pursue an opportunity with an ad agency. She realized she loved working in homebuilding, so she returned to and joined the Standard Pacific Homes team (now Lennar) as the Director of Marketing for the San Diego Division in 2015. Cindy is responsible for digital marketing, Community marketing, model design, providing leads to sales teams, and more. Cindy loves Lennar’s commitment to do the right thing for the right reason. The San Diego Division gives back to local communities through the company’s initiative, Focused Acts of Caring. The Division supports Casa de Amparo – an organization that partners with the greater San Diego community to ensure children and their families receive unique and innovative services for healing and stopping child mistreatment. Lennar Associates and Trade Partners collect gifts during the holiday season and deliver them to the residents at Casa de Amparo. The team also helped refurbish and update some spaces within the home. Cindy’s experience, tenacity, and passion for the industry have greatly impacted the Division. We appreciate her leadership in helping grow and strengthen the San Diego Division. Congrats, Cindy! Fun Fact – Cindy loves traveling! Her favorite place to travel to is Italy.

Meet Megan Gibbons. Before her time at Lennar, Megan gained experience in commercial interior design, architecture, and home renovation. These roles set her up for success at Lennar with design, drafting, and management experience. In 2022, she joined the Lennar family as a Design and Drafting Manager for the Portland Division. Her day-to-day never looks the same. Megan and her team design floorplans, use CAD to show what Communities will look like, troubleshoot issues with the Construction team, work with the Marketing team to design materials, and more. Megan aims to design floorplans where Homeowners can thrive. Megan loves her team and describes them as trustworthy and supportive both professionally and personally. They work together to keep pushing forward to achieve the company-wide initiative of continuous improvement. Megan also appreciates the work-life balance Lennar provides and encourages. Megan’s determination, hard work, and experience are integral to the CAD Team and the Portland Division.
