We are excited to announce Jason McDonell has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. He will join the company effective September 9, 2024.   Jason brings an impressive near 30 years of experience in retail and consumer products. He most recently served as Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing, and e-Commerce at Advance Auto Parts, where he was responsible for driving omnichannel growth across the Company’s $11 billion family of brands. Before that he spent 21 years with PepsiCo culminating with his role as Canada President and General Manager for PepsiCo Food, a $2.5 billion business.   Join us in extending a warm welcome to Jason as he becomes part of the Leslie's family!

At Leslie’s, we’re committed to supporting drowning prevention and water safety through our partnerships with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the American Red Cross. From now until October 31st, we’re working towards a goal of raising $150,000 to help protect kids and families in our communities. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the American Red Cross, reflecting our shared dedication to community safety. Leslie’s partners with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley to give our local kids a great start to their school year! Thanks to the incredible collaboration between Leslie’s Employee Resource Groups, we partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley to donate a Jeep load of essential school supplies and 48 backpacks! This generous contribution will go a long way in supporting our local kids in need and ensuring they have everything they need for a successful school year.

We're pleased to welcome Lorna Nagler to our Board of Directors! We are thrilled she will bring nearly 40 years of retail expertise, including first-hand experience leading various retail companies, to our Board. Her appointment expands our Board of Directors from seven to eight members. Notably, Ms. Nagler has been serving as the chair of the board of directors at Ulta Beauty, Inc. since June 2022, a testament to her exceptional leadership and strategic acumen in the retail sector. We’re officially four weeks into our Summer Internship Program at the Corporate Office. Our internship program is not just about development and senior leadership visibility but also about making a real-world impact through our cohort's work on a cross-departmental project. Last week, our interns had a significant opportunity to engage with our Executive leaders. They asked thoughtful questions about the industry, sought career advice, and much more.
