Creating economic success for underserved and marginalized communities through STEM education and work force development

About us

LET'S GO Boys and Girls (LET'S GO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit devoted to STEM learning and interest throughout youth growth and education development. Our Mission is to create economic success for underserved and marginalized communities through STEM education and workforce development. LET'S GO partners with schools, youth organizations, and other non-profits in historically under-resourced communities to provide STEM learning experiences for youth from elementary school to post-secondary school age. LET'S GO equips administrative staff and instructors to provide STEM learning experiences in their schools and communities. LET'S GO provides workforce development and internship/apprenticeship opportunities for high school and post-secondary school students. Currently, LET'S GO serves four regions: Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County, and Washington, DC. For data evaluation, LET'S GO partners with the Partnerships in Education and Resilience (PEAR), Inc. LET'S GO provides certain students the PEAR student survey once per year and PEAR uses data collected from the survey to produce statistical data. LET'S GO and PEAR also partner for evaluation of instructor survey data. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is for the community to become actively involved. Chief Program Officer, LETS GO Boys and Girls | Champion for Equitable Access to STEM Education | Creative Problem Solver

20 years ago, I met someone who would impact my life in ways I couldn't imagine. What started as coaching a FIRST LEGO League robotics team for my sons alongside Marco Ciavolino, evolved into working together with Corky Graham to found LET'S GO Boys and Girls, a non-profit dedicated to creating new opportunities for youth through STEM. Today, I'm thrilled to announce a milestone in our journey. At the BaltimoreCityIT Digital Equity Forum at Coppin State University LET'S GO Boys and Girls was awarded a transformative $200K grant to support Robotics and Tech programs across the city. Standing with fellow awardees, I felt immense pride in our collective mission to close the digital divide in Baltimore. This grant will significantly amplify our impact, bringing STEM opportunities to more young minds across our city. This work isn't possible without the support of many individuals, corporations and foundations. I invite you to join our team today and make an investment in the future of our young people. https://lnkd.in/eptS6YUk From a mom coaching robotics to leading a city-wide initiative - what a journey! Excited for the future we're building together. #InvestToday #STEM #DigitalEquity #Baltimore #Robotics City of Baltimore

  • Please join us in welcoming Eric to our growing team! Eric Warshawsky joined the LET'S GO team in 2024 under the Maryland Year of Service program as a Program Coordinator based in the Baltimore office. He has a passion for both education and STEM, having previously worked as an English teacher and a web developer. After graduating from the University of Vermont, Eric worked with an afterschool English program in Japan. In this program, he independently taught classes for students ranging from elementary to high school. He joined the Peace Corps, serving as a Youth in Development volunteer in Southern Thailand. During this time, Eric taught English as well as worked with local government and health officials to plan and facilitate programs to meet the needs of the community. After coming home, Eric worked with a mortgage company as a Full-Stack Web Developer. He developed web-based tools to support the company. Three years later, he was eager to return to work that more directly made a positive impact in the community and is currently working to support the afterschool First Lego League program.
