Powerful solutions for automating and scaling visual inspection
About us
Levatas develops machine learning and computer vision software for automating visual inspection. Our machine learning models and human-in-the-loop systems supercharge teams who use camera systems, robotic platforms, drones, and IoT devices for the new era of automation. With a focus on helping our customers rapidly scale industrial inspection, our products range from very specific CV models, like analog gauge reading and thermal anomaly detection, to end-to-end custom solutions — many of which integrate advanced robotics and our patented human-in-the-loop engine. Customers partner with us to understand, integrate and deploy inspection solutions across their enterprise with special attention to driving operational efficiency.

As we recognize the importance of capturing the utility data that’s hidden in plain sight, one downstream effect is having too much of a good thing. With a comprehensive view of your assets, the next step in the workflow is identifying the relevant and important information - but the logistics of data flow and platform integration are not always straightforward. Come join us this Wednesday morning at #UAWeek as Skydio and Levatas share the evolution of the utility workflow, and how seamless integrations can get you from Flight to Insight! Bring your questions, we hope to see you there! #utilityanalytics Info below 👇🏻

Thanks Avangrid, we like you, too. Here's to even more innovation, collaborative partnership (and maybe even a few more awards??) together as partners on the road ahead. ...and wait til they see what's coming next 💥
🎉 Congratulations to Sparky, our pilot mobile robot dog, for receiving the prestigious AEIC 2024 Achievement Award! 🏆 This award recognizes this technology’s significant contributions to operational excellence in the electric utility industry. A big thank you to our partners at Boston Dynamics and Levatas for their collaboration in developing and implementing this amazing tool. Modeled after a dog, Sparky detects and analyzes substation equipment, enhancing substation inspections and boosting electric reliability and resiliency for our customers. “When a robot takes a tumble, it means a human didn’t have to.“ 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Yes, our robots have scratches. If your mobile ground robots don’t have a bit of visible wear and tear- I’d encourage you to keep pushing. There is immense value being unlocked at the outer limits of what’s possible with these amazing machines. Every time a robot takes a tumble, it means a human didn’t have to.
