Leveling the Playing Field, Inc. reposted this
Ten years ago when Leveling the Playing Field, Inc. first started working with Monumental Sports & Entertainment the issue of access to youth sports was not considered a mainstream issue. As a result, the ability to enjoy the mental and physical benefits that youth sports provide was under appreciated and taken for granted. I have seen that shift over the past ten years and Monumental was on that trend from the beginning. This exciting announcement by Ted Leonsis & Monumental Sports & Entertainment is huge for all of the amazing organizations and community leaders working to provide better access to high quality sports and recreation for kids in the DC area. The platform that this will provide to this issue is a massive deal and will impact a lot of kids in and around DC. Kudos to Ted Leonsis, Elizabeth Wodatch Pace, Peter Robinson, Jessie Thompson, Princess Streeter, Shannon Clancy and everyone else working like crazy to make sports more accessible to kids in the DC area.
MSE is proud to launch #DistrictOfPlay, a company-wide youth sports initiative aimed at providing safe play spaces, essential equipment, and community engagement opportunities for all children in DC. More ➡ bit.ly/3zAaPUn
