Smithsonian Institution affiliate, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture is the largest African American museum in the State of Maryland and is located two blocks away from the Inner Harbor in Downtown Baltimore. The Lewis Museum has served as a trusted custodian, a respected authority, and a thought-partner on the history and culture of the African diaspora with an emphasis on the State of Maryland since opening in 2005.
