Liberty Lift Solutions would like to welcome Matt Corcoran as the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Matt brings ten plus years of industry experience at various levels of treasury and finance to Liberty Lift Solutions. He graduated from the University of Texas and earned his MBA from Rice University. Most recently, Matt held the role of Director of Finance & Corporate Development at Hi-Crush, where he managed the company’s FP&A and strategic budgeting processes, corporate development and M&A activities, treasury and risk management operations, and capital markets and investor relations efforts. “I enjoy and have been very fortunate to work for companies with dynamic cultures and environments, which has in turn allowed me to work with diverse teams to creatively solve complex problems,” Matt said. “The experience of having worked across most finance disciplines in such a hands-on manner has given me a valuable and unique perspective into what it takes to build and foster a high-performing finance team and organization.” As VP of Finance and Treasurer, Matt will be responsible for leading Liberty’s treasury, liquidity, risk management and credit/collection activities. He will work closely with all departments to ensure our treasury and finance activities are grounded in sound business management practices to enhance the return on investment of Liberty Lift Solutions. As a continuation of our Employee Spotlight series, we would like to officially welcome Richard Shook (Richard S.) to the Liberty Lift Solutions team! Richard joins us as the Director of Gas Lift, Plunger Lift, Jet Pump and Spooling and will be working from our Houston headquarters. With more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Richard’s background includes extensive knowledge in production optimization, operations and artificial lift solutions. Richard spent the first 20 years of his career on the service side of the industry with Weatherford International in various technical, sales and leadership roles in the United States and Asia Pacific regions. “The most significant role that shaped my career relocated my family and I to Indonesia for almost 5 years,” he said. “I lead a diverse team of brilliant individuals as the Business Unit Manager to start up to major offshore service operations.” Prior to joining Liberty Lift Solutions, he was a Superintendent for Production Operations in the Delaware Basin at Devon Energy, where he and his operations team were responsible for over 140,000 bbl/d of oil production. Richard also served as a Production Superintendent for Felix Energy II in the Delaware Basin where he applied his leadership skills and experience in operations and artificial lift to contribute to achieving a company production increase from 10,000 BOE/d to 60,000 BOE/d in just two years. “What I enjoy most about my job is engaging with individuals from various backgrounds and assisting them with their questions and issues,” he said. “Each day brings a unique experience, and I value the opportunity to continually learn and adjust to new circumstances.” Welcome to the Liberty Lift team, Richard! #LibertyLiftSolutions #RightSolutionRightTime #EmployeeSpotlight #ArtificialLift
