Liberty Military Housing recently hosted the 15th Annual 'Cause We Can 5K Run/Walk' in San Diego. Over 500 racers, including 140 military families, joined us in red, white, and blue for a fun-filled morning of racing, medals, and a delicious post-race breakfast! Liberty Military Housing team members joined residents and community members as a sponsor of the fourth annual “22 Miles to Break Boundaries" run. This inspiring event, founded by CPT Kyle Butters, USA, Ret., raises awareness and funds for the Infinite Hero Foundation. Over 90 residents and team members participated virtually or attended the event, including Philip J. Rizzo, CEO of Liberty, who ran all 44 miles for the second consecutive year, and Jonathan Aguilar, Customer Service Representative from Liberty’s Village at Serra Mesa District. Collectively, a record-breaking $51,300 was raised for the Infinite Hero Foundation, supporting veterans with essential mental health and recuperative treatment programs.
