Remembering Chrissy Freitas It is with deep sadness I share that our LifeLine family is mourning the loss of our beloved team member, Christine (Chrissy) Freitas, who passed away yesterday. We are asking for prayers for her husband, Brian, and all her loving family and friends. Chrissy joined LifeLine over ten years ago, and I can’t imagine what it will be like without her. If I could describe her in just two words, it would be warm and caring. She fiercely loved the Lord, her friends and family, and her country. Her dedication to her clients and her teammates was legendary. More than once I arrived at the office after a major snowstorm expecting to be the one holding down the fort only to find Chrissy already there. Her ability to listen and be a calming presence touched all who knew her. It’s no wonder her clients loved her and she had such a large circle of close friends. She will be deeply missed. Jillian Mason, CPA joins LifeLine Financial Services, LLC. as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jill's passions lie in helping individuals and businesses reach their full potential by creating efficiencies and process improvements for their everyday routines while also building lasting relationships that go beyond the numbers. Jill earned her undergraduate degree in 2014 and her Master’s Degree in Accountancy from Bentley University in 2015. She has ten years of experience in both public and private accounting. Starting as an auditor in the public sector for both Gallagher Flynn (VT) and BerryDunn (NH), Jill worked on clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, financial services, not-for-profit and healthcare. She transitioned to the private sector in 2019 when she was hired by Coca Cola Beverages Northeast as a GL Accountant, where she was a part of a larger team that worked to bring the month end close process back in-house after being outsourced for multiple years. In 2020, she was promoted to Marketing Accounting Manager where she led a team of four contract accountants and was responsible for the process and procedures around trade spend, including working closely with the sales team to ensure all promotions were set up accurately and reported correctly on financial statements. Most recently, Jill was the Sales Controller for Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc., building out the role which had been previously vacant for years.. As Controller, Jill was able to help with the implementation of Blacksmith, a new trade spend management system, including internal control procedures, reconciliations between Blacksmith and SAP, month end analytics and reviews and assisting with the financial training of the sales teams. Jill lives in Weare, NH with her husband, Kyle, two children, Wyatt (4) and Mackenzie (2), and their dog Riley. When she is not busy with work or chasing her toddlers, she is serving as President of High Hopes Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing life-enhancing experiences to chronically ill children of New Hampshire.
