Together, we shine brighter!
IF YOU’RE NOT HAVING FUN, YOU’RE NOT DOING IT RIGHT. At The Lighthouse, we believe that recovery is about more than just staying sober — it’s about building a fulfilling, meaningful life. Through our Recovery 365 program, clients discover that recovery can be a lifestyle filled with joy and connection, not a chore. Trey Laird, CEO & Founder, shares how our homes transform into vibrant recovery clubhouses, where community, comfort, and support thrive.
From Tuesday alumni meetings to Sunday community gatherings, clients engage in activities that promote both personal growth and fun. Whether it's participating in men’s groups, fellowship dinners, or enjoying a game of pickleball, hiking, or golf, there’s always something to look forward to.
As Trey puts it best, "If you're not having fun in recovery, you're just not doing it right."
INSIDE THE LIGHTHOUSE — A RECOVERY JOURNEY WITH JACK CLAYTON. As a team, we take pride in the success of over 300 men and women who have come through our doors. Jack Clayton, one of our experienced Recovery Coaches, shares how our community stands out by providing more than just support — we offer real-life role models of sober living. Our staff is passionate, caring, and truly invested in the well-being of our residents. This positive, uplifting environment is what makes The Lighthouse a place where individuals can thrive and build a foundation for sustained recovery.
RECOVERY ISN’T JUST A THEORY — IT’S A LIFESTYLE. Trey Laird, CEO & Founder of The Lighthouse, explains the fundamental difference between treatment and recovery. Unlike treatment, where challenges are hypothetical, recovery at The Lighthouse integrates real-world experiences. Clients live their daily lives — going to work, spending time with family, and encountering real-life triggers. They return to the house or check in with their coach to reflect, learn, and improve in real-time, ensuring that their recovery journey is built on practical, lived experiences.
Every Monday morning at 10am The Lighthouse coaching team gets together to talk about our current clients. What’s working in their recovery, what problems or barriers are they having? The importance of having a TEAM of coaches is that we are all in this together. Too many recovery coaches are doing it on their own and don’t have a team or supervisor behind them to support.
This is just one thing that sets The Lighthouse apart and has been a key to our clients success.
Meal time is where our clients come together to share their experiences and support each other. At The Lighthouse, we make that extra special by building community through food. Listen to Fabrice Denis, our head chef, as he prepares healthy dishes and special dietary needs, helping clients feel better and happier, which brings him joy too.
For the most part our clients are navigating marriages, families and careers in addition to their recovery. With the help of their recovery coach, their family coach and our community, they find all of this manageable, one day at a time.
Many of The Lighthouse’s clients, who are married with kids and hold high-up positions, rely on us to adjust to a newly sober life while managing work and family. Learn about our interventions and convenient locations from our CEO and Founder Trey Laird together with Cini Shaw, Chief Recovery Officer.
