Recently, Linc CEO Becky Clark and President & COO Suny Lay Chang were on hand at Fairview Heights in Inglewood to host roundtable of experts in real estate and affordable housing with California State Assemblymember Buffy Wicks (#AD14). The Assemblymember wanted to drill down into what else the state could be doing to help build more affordable housing. You know that feeling when you don't want the party to end? So do the kids at Liberty Village Apartments in Beaumont. After a summer full of fun and friendship, they made the recent Linc 40th anniversary community celebration their afterparty. Now, even though the memories of summer may start to fade, the friendships they created will endure. A big thank you to service coordinator Tay for her mentorship of this incredible group of young people. #affordablehousing #youthmentorship

We would like to take this opportunity to recognize Capital One, U.S. Bank, and the Josephine S. Gumbiner Foundation for their multi-year commitments of funding to Linc. This ongoing support for our operations and services helps us to continue our work to build communities and strengthen neighborhoods for those underserved by the marketplace. #affordablehousing #communitypartners

At Linc, we love policy changes that help more people access housing. In August, HUD announced changes that will help more homeless veterans with disability benefits qualify for supportive housing. Previously, a veteran's disability benefits counted against their income thresholds. Now, those who have served our country will not have to choose between housing and their disability benefits.
